Cleaning Tan interiors...

My main question is... how can we get the grim out of the panels? I recall going to my buddies used car dealership and using some super strong "cleaner" that would literally bleach the panel if you let it sit too long. I can get the same affect with some AmorAll interior cleaner... but its just not as good. Any recomendations on what to use?

I have some wash clothes, toothbrushes, scrub sponge, at hand.

I pretty much want to detail the crap out of this car... I've had better luck taking the stains out of the carpet and seats with a pressure washer, and lots of scrubbing with house hold detergents. But those black scuff marks on the panels, kickpanels, and anywhere else are a real PITA.

use the mr clean scubber on the door trim and 10:1 soultion of woolite and water on the leather and follow up with a good leather conditioner the carpet got Home depot and get some folex spot remover and diltue it to direction and use it to clean the carpet and/or interior seats(if not leather)

I also use woolite and water for my leather seats. For plastic, you can try some general cleaner like Simple green, or purple power, diluted of course. I usually use Meguiars quick interior detailer every so often so nothing really has time to set or build up.

The door panels are not leather correct? I dont have leather seats.. Its really more of the panels I want to clean. Kick panels, door panels, door sills, etc... still use what you guys recommend? I just want to have a clean tan interior. What about using sand paper??

Oh I thought you had leather. Just use a carpet cleaner. Any kind.

I used this for the plastic stuff inside:

Used it on the door panels, sills, arm rest. Everything inside was dirty and black. The armrest was bad and after using the Tuff Stuff...everything is back to tan and looks great. You'd be surprised how the arm rest looks now...almost brand new. The dirt literally melted off. Got the stuff from Walmart for a few bucks.
