Hm they have a set of these erasers that are specific for your wheels and tires (which work great), but you think normal 1s can be used on the car? I searched and I don't think it has been discussed on here. I think it should work, but I'm afraid to try it. Don't wanna **** up my paint or anything. Detailing wizards chime in.
4th gen. items FS:
-2 sets of 9004 bulbs ($10/set).
-1157 red LED bulbs ($5).
-OEM bumper lights ($20).
-License plate light assembly ($10).
-PM me if interested.

Well I'm not a detailing wizard, but I have used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on my car. I had a sort of scuff mark (where I parallel park, someone had a mailbox a wee bit too close to where the spot is, so that mailbox became slanted eventually ) on my rear bumper. Nothing would take it off (never did try claybaring though) but that magic eraser sure enough got rid of it.

Hm very interesting. I'm gonna have to try this on a small area. These erasers work great on the interior and rims/tires. I can vouch for that. I'll have to try the exterior now I guess.

do not use it on any leather or any thing that can rot out...
it will make it rot faster.....it takes all the things leather needs to keep looking good

you can used it to clean leather..but scott says it's too abrasive...but IMO it works for me. i've done it once and it's fine.
you MUST finish it up a good conditioner to feed it or else don't even start it.

personally i'm not too crazy about the use on the car other than maybe cleaning up the leather.

That is not true. I've been cleaning my leather for a probably a year now with no problems. After the clean I always use Lexol conditioner. It's the best.

Hm give the leather a good cleaning with soap and water. Use the eraser. Finish off with Lexol leather conditioner.

DO NOT use it on paint. The Magic Eraser has abrasives in it.

Yeah I figured. I was gonna try it on some old junk parts and see. There's a special pack just for wheels/tires. Here are some before and after pix of 1 of my rims on my '96.

Car wash wouldn't have been enough. I really had to scrub to get the salt and brake dust from basically the whole winter. When I washed the car after, the rims were perfect. Those pix were before the car wash.

I think Mr.Clean Magic Eraser is microabrasive. Use claybar on the paint instead. You will like the results.
Yeah claybar is the best. I was just wondering if it could be used on paint just cause it had never been discussed before and these Erasers are pretty good.
