removing paint marks

some idiot drop house paint on the street and it got under my side skirts does anyone know how to remove th paint without messing up the original pain ton the car, ive got this liquid from advance that it says is for bugs tar and paint chip removal i try it and it didnt do a thing before i try anyting else and mess it up i just wanted to know if any one has any ideas.

I use lacquer thinner to get that and road tar off.Its not going to damage anything as long as you polish and wax afterwards.Im talking about clearcoated panels.

now is there any specific polish and wax to use? and how do i know if my paint is clearcoated or base paint?

If you have a fairly recent Maxima, I'm pretty sure you have a clearcoat. I would recommend using a Clay Magic clay car. It should remove the tar without damaging the paint. You can also use it all over your car to take lots of caked on dirt off safely before you polish or wax the car.

Langka. I know it removes touch up paint. I have it, and have used it. It works.
