Best way to go about fixing this scratch

I dj pretty often at this club. I guess drunk people coming out of the club cannot back up and turn at the same time without rubbing their bumpers against me. The scratch is about 3/4 inch squared. It's not deep, but still very visible, no bumps, just scrape. I can see white (guessing where he scratched my paint) and some blue (guessing his/her paint).

1. Don't know who it is
2. Is this going to cost a fortune repairing?
3. I am positive I know absolutely nothing about scratch/paint repair so any feedback will be appreciated.

doesnt look too bad. get you some good rubbing compound, nothing too agresive though and rub it out and buf it up with some good polish then wax.

Don't use rubbing compound. All of these are very aggressive. The damage you have is very minor. Not sure what detailing products you have, but a very mild polish like Poorboys 1 or even Klasse AIO ought to remove it. If you don't have these, just go to the auto parts store and get a cleaner wax off the shelf. (the stuff that dries to a white haze) That will remove it also.

how deep is the scratch? if you run your finger on it can you feel it?

The scratch is not deep in my opinion. I Just went outside and ran my finger across it. You obviously don't feel the same smoothness on the normal paint as you do on the scratch, but I wouldn't say it's deep. I have not done anything to it yet I wanted to get some feedback from here first. For now just some water to try to clean it up won't hurt right?

I use Meguiars products for my cars. I do have their paint cleaner which is, I believe, some sort of compound. http://www.meguiars.com/?auto-paint-...-Paint-Cleaner

I have used it on my cars for years and have not had any trouble at all. Should I NOT put it on this scratch???

The white portion is pretty visible. I don't know anything about paint, so I am going to guess the white part is the coat that is under my silver paint?? Meaning he scrapped off most of my silver paint and the white part is what I see under it?

The blue -ish green portion though I am pretty positive is the dumb a$$'s paint from his bumper.

Meguiars ScratchX should work, that looks more like a paint transfer than a scratch.

I will go to the store and get the scratchx from Meguiars. I read up on their forum and seems like that would work. After cleaning it up with a soft sponge, I took most of his paint out. It's not 100%, but it's much much much better.

NOW to add to my nightmare though, I look at the other door and just today, yet another (this time bad) scratch. Someone scratched me again in the identical spot but on the other door. I feel like I'm cursed this week!!! I know this one is probably non-fixable on a DYI level, but anyone can advise, would be appreciated. This new one is two piece (but I assume all from one hard scrape...the top part is dented, the bottom is scratched).

Yea I can see the dent. Hope you get it fixed without major issues. I've been telling the kids to stay away, stay away from my car...I go out a couple days ago and see what I thought was a scratch. It was a handle bar grip smug. It came out though. Damn kids!!
