Should I consider them?

I want to get my car detailed next month and want a damn good job but want to pay the max of $175..(exterior, interior, and engine bay) I email a local guy and this is wha the said..I know there isnt enough info but at least he saids more that "yea we detail cars and wax them" and what kind of questions to ask?

I can guarantee my work. I have a reference you can call. Her name ****** ********* and her phone number is 856-***-****. My full detail includes: hand washing everything including wheel well and door jams. After washing I use detailer’s clay to remove surface contaminants such as environmental fall out. Then I polish and or compound depending on the level of paint correction needed follow by a coat of wax applied by hand. For the interior I clean the inside top to bottom shampooing seats, carpet and mats. Also I clean the dash and doors and vents etc. I charge around 150 for my full detail. I can come to your home or office provided you have a water hook up and an electric outlet. Please call to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions at 856-***-****.

Thank You, Jack

Ask if he has pictures of previous work? What exact materials he plans on using, specifically the waxes/polishes?

If he is willing to do this at your work, then I sure hope that he brings a big ass tent to go over your car because waxing in the sun is a big

You can apply some waxes in the sun without any harmful effects. Natty's Blue for example.

But as Prjct suggests, ask what he is using and see if it is compatible with outdoor non shaded applications.

I can polish out a black car in the full summer sun using Optimum or Clearkote products.

What you want to see are examples of his work in the full sun. Look for buffer swirls/burnt paint, how clean the interior actually is (many so-called detailers just slap a greasy protectant on the leather/vinyl without actually cleaning it), etc.

Does this person have a website?
