incredible clean carpets

i was reading on this forumn somewhere and a chick recommended putting carpets in the washer after spot treatment.
i tried it and it made my ****y dirty carpets look like brand new.
i have scrubbed and worked the hell out of them before and they never got this clean.
NICE tip whoever gave it!!!

You are talking about your floor mats, right? Just be careful with the agitator, sometimes they can take chunks out of the mats. Guess how I know that?

Use a front loader. Less chance of damage. I picked up that tip a couple years back. Works like a charm.

what kind of spot treatment do you all use?

Also, If I put some towels in with my floor mats in the top-loading washer, wil this decrease the risk of damaging my floormats?
