Paint on a black 1985 Porsche 911?

Hey guys, I've been offered the opportunity to detail a black 1985 Porsche 911, but I need to know some things about the paint on this specific car. Specifically, is the paint a lacquer or an enamel? Is it single stage or does it have a clear coat?

My products include the UDM, Ultima PP+ and PGP, and Menzerna IP if necessary. Will these products work with this paint?

Also, in the front of the car where a bra used to be there are hundreds of tiny paint bubbles. Can I use the UDM on these or do I risk popping them? Should I do it by hand, or not at all?

Thanks for the help!

Nick

What does that mean? Is it single stage? Lacquer?

What about the paint bubbles?

Definitely single stage paint, no idea about the bubbles without seeing pictures.

Ok, I'm a little unfamiliar with single stage paint. How do I know if my products are suitable for it or not? For example, looking at the Optimum Compound, it doesn't say anything about being suitable for single stage paint, the same goes for the #80. Why are these different than my products?
If possible, I would like to use the Menzerna IP along with the Ultima cleaner and sealant. Is there any reason I can't use those products, because the products you mentioned seem to all be similar to my products. Is it just your personal preference, or a more scientific reason?
Thanks Scott!
