Leather frustration

Alright, I am getting frustrated. I have done 5 applications of Leatherique and my seats do not feel any softer than they did when I first started. I have one panel that is nice and soft, but the others are stiff. This is exactly how my seats were before I started this process.

Here is what I have done. 5 applications per instructions with leaving the car outside for 24 hours. I have scrubbed the Rejuvinator oil and Pristine clean into the seats with a leather scrub brush that came in the kit. I have used a hair dryer to really get the seats warm after applying the Rejuvinator Oil. I have talked with Leatherique and sent pictures of my seats to their technical assistance department and they tell me to just keep applying it.

It is a pain in the a$$ to keep applying this stuff and not seeing any results. I would at least be encouraged if my seats barely began to feel softer. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone not have any luck with Leatherique? If so, what did you use on your seats? Any help or comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

And some here absolutely have said there is NO doubt it would soften any leather. In my opinion after using many products, they are all the same, so why buy the ridiculously expensive stuff and get hosed? I still stand by my tried and true Lexol. Sorry to hear your frustration, but some guys here talk about Leatherique like it is some kind of magic, when in essence it is simply an overpriced version of the same thing made by everyone.

i think you need to wait till the outside temperature gets a little hotter, like a nice sunny 90 degree plus day.

3 of the 5 applications have been on days where the temperature was low to mid 90's and heat index over 100. The other two applications have been on days with temperatures in the 80's. Like I said, I am not expecting instant supple seats, but I am not seeing any progress in that direction. I am wondering if Lexol would work any better. Is there nothing that I can do?

Thats weird, my seats got considerably softer after just 2 applications, and it wasnt even that hot outside, probably around 65-75. I don't know what the problem is with yours.

If its not a daily driver you could try leaving the rejuvinator oil on for a couple of days or a week. i used my bare hands to apply the rejuvinator, making sure i put in on real thick and massaged the seats really well, i would try kneading the seats to open the pores of the leather more, it might be more effective than just a brush which may just push the oil around the surface.
