Nice job, Blues. But I think you and I have the same mindset that we'd use Souveran for shows/meets and S100 for everyday. From the looks of your finish, you still had SG on the finish and then topped it with Souveran.
However, I have been dying to check out Liquid Souveran.

What do you see that looks like there is some SG on there?

It's been awhile since I actually posted anything about my car or detailing but I had to jump in for this.
Pinnacle is worth the money x 1000. It's like everything Zymol should be but isn't. If I'm going to pay 60 bucks for wax it should last at least decently long, look amazing, and be disgustingly easy to apply. Zymol lasts not at all, looks amazing, and is a NIGHTMARE to apply. I've been using Pinnacle all summer and I think I've finally found "my" wax. I don't think I need to look any further. Worth every penny and more. The little container lasts a long time especially when you apply it by machine.
I'm changing to Klasse SG for the winter, but I will def be back to pinnacle come spring (or if I feel like waxing this winter after 5+ coats of SG)./

That looks incredible Tom! I can't wait to see it in person.
I am also a fan of the Pinnacle family. I currently have 3 coats of Pinnacle Paste Glaz on my car, which is more or less a Souveran for light color vehicles. The best part is: Paste Glaz is "only" $35.00 / jar, or ~$25.00 / jar on sale.
How's the Menzerna work for you Tom? Does it get swirls out easily? Ever tried to remove scratches/swirls by hand with it?

Thanks, Fosgate.
Prinz - I'll try Souveran over the SG in the fall....
Paul, Menzerna is very good. The intensive polish for the tougher imperfections (I haven't had to use it much) and the Final Polish for minor stuff. Both work well. I've applied the Intensive by hand for small spots, but used the PC when I used the Final Polish on the entire car.

FP is a very mild polish. (Intensive Polish is more agressive) FP won't be good on a finish in bad shape. BMW and GM use the FP on the assembly line to touch up any minor blemishes on new car finishes.

That looks great. That is exactly the type of finish I'm looking for. Right now I'm using #26. Does a pretty good job. And unfortunately I have to do everything by hand.
The Souvern is pretty expensive too. But, from what I've read on other forums, you should stick with the paste. There's probably a reason why the liquid is cheaper.

For anyone with a light color that is envious of the awesome relectivity of Pinnacle Souveran on dark colors, you should check into Pinnacle Paste Glaz. It's still higher-priced than many waxes out there, but you can see the results at the bottom of my homepage.

Prinz - have you tried the liquid yet? IIRC, I thought you said you were going to get/try some?
