I agree...people get bent out of shape too easily. He offered an appropriate remedy and you chose not to take it. No harm no foul.

I've got to chime in here. It's been a VERY long time since I've posted here and an even longer time since I last spoke to Dave. But I just got off the phone with him and I can assure you that he's the same stand-up guy he's ALWAYS been. I can't begin to tell you how much money he's saved me over the years. IMO, they just don't come any better than Dave.

I just saw this thread for the first time. I have bugged Dave B more then anyone I know and he is an amazing guy. He knows me by name whether it has been 6 months since I called or 1 day. He has always had great customer service and is always willing to look out for his customers, +100000 I have had enough items purchased from him and he always is able to help me out in a timely manor.

can't agree more, always friendly, and he has expert knowledge, best pricing. I always regret when I have to go to my local dealer for emergencies.

I have ordered from him at least 15 times. No matter what is going on, he takes the time to listen to me, and gives me advise. He also ships out same day if item is in stock. You cannot beat his prices. Best guy period.

Sorry for bumping a 2 month old thread but I want to know how the buying process works for this DaveB guy. From reading this 3 page thread and about 100+ positive feedback, I am almost 100% positive hes a trustworthy guy. Since he doesn't actually have a website ... do we just call him and ask him to order the parts for us and ship it to our house? How does the payment method work? I am just a little concern.

he works at a dealership, if you pm him, he will give you a number. Or you can call him directly. When you place an order, he will fax you a copy of a waiver or what not putting your credit card info and such and sign the waiver allowing them to charge your credit card. Remember there are two dave b's, He is David Burnette. not Barron. Anyhow, just call him, he will place the order, and ship it to your door within 3-5 days.

Just recently ordered from DaveB again. I compared prices with everythingnissan.com, and while the prices were very comparable (actually, on a couple of parts, a few dollars cheaper on the website), Dave engenders trust that you will get the exact part. He knows his stuff, is extremely helpful and friendly, and shipping is very reasonable and fast.

Great service!

Dave B, as always, gives great service. The dealer in town(Royal Nissan) told me there was only one gasket for the 00vi throttle body. When I called Dave, he informed me there was in fact 2 gaskets; one metal, one rubber. I might have sourced my vacuum leak thanks to Dave. Go Dave B!

Also, he charged me only 2/3 the price that Royal Nissan wanted for 1 rubber gasket. ^_^

I had a very pleasant experience with Dave, he informed me he couldn't get part of my order due to a discontinued part, but referred me to another dealer who had the part in stock.

Nice helpful service.

Dave B. is great, been ordering alot of parts from him since I got my Max, and he has been extremely helpful, and his prices are great. He ships my part the afternoon I order, it takes 2 days to get from Texas to Atlanta, and on the 3rd day its at my doorstep. Dave B is the best, hands down!
