Conversation Between Scottwax and Maxgig

Scott, I have a black 69 Cougar and at the last car show I attended I received a gift bag of Hot Flash car care products. Two questions for you, first off are the hot flash products any good? The product rep said they are used on a lot of high end vehicles. Second, I don't own a car polisher and wanted to know what you'd consider to be a decent one to get for someone who is just getting into the car waxing thing. I checked on ebay and there are several out there from heavy duty ones to variable speed ones, 7 inch to 9 in. I don't want to spend a lot of money but I don't want to get a piece of junk either, I was hoping to spend around $30 to $40 for a good 7in variable speed one. My cars that I'll be polishing are of course my black cougar and my wifes red Mazda, my Max is sterling mist so it will just get the normal wash and dry treatment. Thanks for your help, Martin.
