i paid someone the first time and felt stupid after i saw how easy it was. Stillen has instructions on their site for it that are really easy to follow, you can definitely do it yourself if you get it painted first
-
is it roughly easy to install yourself, or is it a must for body shop personnel to take care of it?
-
its one piece, held on by 3m tape and 4 screws in your wheel well
-
Ghozt,... is the stillen lip one piece or two separate pieces??
what are they held on by??

im using 10mm spacers in front, nothing in rear. i feel like i could come out another 5mm in front maybe. it'll depend on the offset of the rim too, i think the Rays are 38 offset?
-
when you had your 9's in the front and 10's in the rear, were you using spacers with them? what would be your best suggestion to go with/,...... im looking at these wheels the Roderick RW-1 as something i would like to put on it le me know what you think, thanks

hey man. well it depends on how low you are too. i ran the stock rims (8" width 50 offset) with 20mm spacers front 25mm rear no rubbing. now on the Rays (9" front, 10" rear), i was rubbing in the rear while lowered on eibachs. i had to change tires to 245/40/19 for all 4 rims (stretched on the rear slightly) so it didnt rub. 9" rims fit nicely on our car but you can definitely do 10 if you want. a guy on here (Westwood) slammed on coilovers and runs 10" in the rear and he just rolled the fenders

Ok you seem to know your stuff about these 7th generation maxima's so my question is this, what is the max width on aftermarket wheels you can go with without having to do any modifications to keep them from rubbing, bottoming out, etc. Everywhere I call they tell me 9's in the rear but im seeing alot of these maxima's on here with 10in in the rear. So it is a concern for me before i purchase. Thanks!
