No Canadian sightings thread so i'll just post this here. half a hour ago (605pm) a clean Maxima (5.5gen i think) went by me on StonyPlain RD, full body kit with front, back, and sideskirts. Black with tinted windows i think and shiny rims. Pulled into the pizza 73 parking lot after it passed me, glanced at my 3rd gen turning right on 144th.

there is a dark blue 5th gen with a "skyline" kit on it that I have seen in the west end on many occasions. there is a white one (5th gen) with something like 10,000 kelvin hid's that has a body kit on it as well.
there is a 6th gen that is silver that appears to be on air ride in the front at least. Haven't seen that car in a long time though. There is a dark silver 6th gen with a full stillen kit on the north side also.
At one time there was a white 4th gen that had a full stillen lip kit on it. But I think he busted his tranny and sold the car for $500 and a case of beer. There was a gold 4th gen with a kit on and that guy used to work at Mills nissan. Don't know what happened to him or the car.

There is a blue 95 with red/clear taillights on it and sprint springs I believe. spotted around university area and I spoke with him on the north side. There is a 95 that is the champagne color riding on D2 coilovers. I think he is from Calgary though and hardly ever drives it.
another 95... dark blue.... that guy nailed a light standard on the henday last winter and wrote it off. Raziq was his screen name had some decent parts on it. I cherry picked them.
that's all I really know about.
then there is this green 4th gen with bronze rims that is in the process of retro fitting his headlights with tsx/mdx projectors. But he is still in the gathering parts phase. Yup a quad set up.... oh wait that's my car lol

things have been going good, got my Sparco Sprint 5 seats from Top Racing in WestEd, theyre the only place in the city i could find that sells Sparco/Recaro/Bride etc. seats.

you havent by chance seen the blue Silvia here on the NorthWest end? he lives close to me, hes got a blue Silvia, turbo with a Origin Body kit and its lowered pretty low. funny thing is he works at my bank. Other than that no other cool Maximas, but Pick-N-Pull has gotten alot of 3rd gens lately

as far as I know/remember it was stock tip.

Did I see you the other day on the north end by the theater on st. albert trail?
Gold 3rd gen with black stock rims?

naw, got stock silver rims. was it the Cineplex Odeon on the NorthEnd? i go there a fair bit but the last time i was there was about 2 weeks ago. Love going there latenight and getting out around midnight because the Yellowhead is empty and you can have some fun

there was a clean black 7th gen or newer downtown on 105st and 102ave today, full limo tint with aftermarket rims and lowered, looked sick

snowed all day and i just saw a RX7 outside, fail???

my Max is in the shop right now, alty went this morning. drove her downtown and the radio would turn itself on, heater turn itself off, wipers suddenly went sluggish, and ABS light go on and off. parked her downtown, came back in 3 hours, stutter start. called AMA, got boosted, took her to the shop. ready in the morning though

downtown parking is a Dbag, i only go for 3 hours a day weekdays and the earlybird is $9 at impark, and earlybird is good til 6pm and im there til 11am. i just put my ticket on the machine so someone else can use it, but im taking the bus now. Sick of $180 a month parking, dbags who drive bad downtown, and making my max put up with going there.

Noone in the city has Sparco seat bases for my new Sprint 5's (3rd gen aftermarket=sh1t) and Sparco itself in the states is out of stock for 3rd gen bases so i have to get SpeedTech Racing Development to rig up some custom work, theyre right by me so it works out. I miss seeing the white R32 Skyline that was parked there always before

that's ok... I saw a guy riding a honda cbr 600 yesterday morning east bound on 137ave.
I had to take a picture. I can't believe how careless some people are.

Haven't seen that lowered 7th gen yet. I agree, they are totally sick. My favourite is the white with black roof. yeah. next car. (I hope)

i dont get people on bikes in this weather. same with the dude at WestEd with that crazy JDM Mazda RX7 FD, the yellow one thats always parked on the first level under Silver City. why would you park that thing a)where it is likely to get jacked b)in the cold still c)for around 10 hours a day unattended?

anyways got my 3rd gen back, had to take a cab because i couldnt get a ride with anyone, cab was one of the old school Crown Vic's and he launched it

Just continuing from your profile page, theres a Nissan meet here yearly? Is it always at Hawrelak park? Next year i would definitely drop by, i know very few people from tuning, just a few friends from highschool but theyre VW hothatch bangers, not into Japanese tuning (fawkers always called my 3rd gen a granny car back then). Only thing is in the summer people meet at the Tim Hortons at Westmount Saturday nights but its just a bunch of dbags, i dont even talk to them but you can see some funny stuff, theres a guy that always pulls up in a riced civic hatch with the hood never on.

Do any nice R32 GTR Skylines meet up? my favorite car, havent been in one for a while. wouldnt mind taking a ride with someone around and down Groat road in one. Have any 240z ever showed up? i know theres a old guy that has one, i see him downtown sometimes in a clean 240z but its not JDM

Anyways, being winter and all i'll have time to work on my 3rd gen and do some interior work/clean up the engine bay and get some summer rims so if theres a meet next summer i'll book a few days off work and go

Honestly I don't know about a yearly nissan meet.
There used to be one organized by the local 300zx club, but I don't know what evar happened with them. The one on my profile page is organized by nico. They have a web site and stuff.... there is a guy on that site with a 6th gen. He tells me he is the only maxima in that club.

I should probably register on that site and attend a meet or two next spring/summer. They have track days and stuff to.

i fkn HATE winter, summer is the shiz, you can drive fast, take tight turns, etc. with grip. winter you have ice douchebaggery, snowstorms, cold cars, having to plug it in, etc.

just reason 2981 why im considering crating the max and moving to Japan, but Canada has too much good stuff.

Major GTR winnage today

first, drove my uncle to the car dealerships today (wrecked his Grand Prix a few days ago), and took a good look at a black R35 GTR at the Nissan dealership. after, went with my cousin to his buddies house and saw his 1994 R32 GTR RB26DETT. FUDGING GORGEOUS car, black JDM with a 8" in dash TV and Apexi boost controller. only thing is the guy removed the RB26 for some reason himself, didnt ask why (guy wasnt talkative and didnt want to see my Maxima but he loves Nissans). Im guessing he blew the engine somehow. I stared at that car for a good hour

gotta say best part of Thanksgiving yesterday was i surprisingly never had a hangover today

im in for the Nissan meet next summer here in Edmonton, i bet its all gonna be Skylines, Silvias, 240sx, 300zx, 350z and a couple Maxima's but i at least have my 3rd gen good enough to show off now that the bodywork is done and ive done some interior work.

a couple of days ago i saw a maroon 7th gen with aftermarket dual exhausts and a GReddy vinyl on the top right corner and a Hawaii islands one on the top left, both vinyls were white. anyone from here?
