Greater Vancouver members - re: 4th Gen

I recently found out that my friend's brother traded his 99 Maxima (believe it was an ES) in on a 2009 Maxima.

I tried to get the brother interested in the .org a few years ago to no avail.

For anyone that is interested I could find out where the car was traded in at. It was about a week ago.

He got $4,000 for it on the trade in.

The car in question was a colour that I am not familiar with. It was a dark blue/slate type colour. The car is bone stock and loaded with Bose, leather and sun roof. Now here is the kicker, it is a 5-speed.

The car was bought about 4-1/2 years ago, if I remember correctly, and was originally a lease car. The last owner is in his 50s and never ragged on the car and it is in reasonably good shape. I am just guessing, but I think it has about 160,000 kilometres on it, perhaps a little less.

If anyone is interested in finding out where this car is now, let me know. I know they sometimes bundle used cars up and send them off to auction, but perhaps it is still on the lot.

I can be reached by e-mail @ rmurdoch@shaw.ca

I forgot to mention that the owner of the Maxima lives in south Burnaby, so the Nissan dealership is probably relatively close to there.
