Muffler shop in GVR

Anyone can recommend a muffler shop in Vancouver/Richmond? I need to install the y-pipe and muffler.

Thanks.

Both are strictly bolt-on affairs. Any decent muffler shop will be able to put them on. try budget brake and muffler. Ive had them do some minor things for me and ive had a good experience with them.

I went to a shop yesterday and was quote 2-hours of labor to install the y-pipe and muffler. Is it a normal estimate?

I spent that putting my y-pipe on, with a Nissan tech and on a hoist. Sound OK to me.

Ok. Thanks.

I won't use that shop anyway because I didn't like the altitude of that guy in the muffler shop. I went in for an estimate, and he told me it will be 2 hours job ($80/hour). But then he started to tell me prepare to leave it for the whole day or a long time since I bring in my own parts, other customers who buy parts from him (even they are behind me) will have higher priorities because he needs to make money and he has 3 staffs and he needs to pay the bills... blah blah blah...

I asked don't you make money from the labor cost you are charging me? He said that's not enough.

$80/hr? You mind as well take it to Garage 5 in Richmond. They charge $65/hr and they are easy to deal with. They are busy though. Talk to Rob or Dave up front whoever's there. Just say Warren with the black Maxima told you to come there. Maybe they'll remember me I haven't been there recently

This is not an uncommon attitude for shops now a days.

You're lucky to have found a shop that will even entertain the idea. All places I've checked with wont touch parts I've brought in!
