any tire shops in the GTA that can rival tirerack.com for good prices?
Any good tire stores in the GTA that can rival tirerack.com for good prices? has anyone dealt wth tires23 lately? I need a set of 285/35/19 and 245/40/19 for the G, and the prices are stupidly high from what I have seen locally.

I've dealt with tires23. They're not bad. They do have competitve prices, but try steelcase tires...They got sweet deals for a bunch of friends of mine. A set of Falken FKs (18") for 850ish installed and balanced. That's a really good price considering how big of a fad those FK series tires are now. Here's the info...
Sorry to jack the thread but i have the same question
What about cheaper tires ? for my stock SE 16's - directional tires i think are out of the question as i was quoted 170 for one michelin hydroedge and the same price for the goodyear assurance triple thread
i am thinking those Canadian tire Motomaster Se's my mom has them and my dad used to have them and the thread looks good with lots of space on the side edges i think they are around 90 dollars a tire gotta check

my dad has those michelin hydroedge on his van. They do have awesome rain traction & the tread wear is like 850!! which is like triple most performance tires. If you don't drive the hard car I highly recommend them. Also get em from costco, you get lifetime tire rotation, puntures etc..
I need to find a set of 16 or 17 inch snow tires :/
well im cheap right, and paying 170+ per tire is not in my budget when i can get away with 80 dollar tires on an 11 year old car, if this was an I35 then i could justify the purchace... no i dont drive the car hard at all (on weekdays) lol kidding, never
cmon man i survived this horrid winter with 30% goodyear eagle GA's all season (the early good kind of thread, not the later models), i have gotten used to managing on non directional tires in the rain...
Phil, I have a friend who sells tires and rims, in fact it is the same guy who sold me my tires and rims. How soon do you need the tires, and do you have any brand preference? If you want I can get you a quote. PM me if you like.

Hey Phil do you think going with the Series 35 is good on our roads? I have been debating between 35's and 40's
It all depends on the width, I always like to maintain the overall same diamater as stock so that acceleration and read-out's are not comprimised. the stock 225 fronts and 245 rears should be 40 series with 19s...much wider than that and you would be looking towards a 35 profile. Remember it is just a ratio, so 40 series with one width may have the same height as 35 series with a larger width...
