Takin vacation to Quebec city/Beaupre.

Hey guys I am taking a vacation next week, coming to a ski resort in Beaupre(sp?). Anyone near there? Will be in a rental, no max, but Ill keep an eye out for anyone. If anyone is really close, Ill get some info on the resort we are staying at.

Oh, and how cold is it? I love the cold, but from FL, my blood is thin...

I think the coldest weather I have ever been in was about 20deg F. I think the low next week is like 3deg...haha. Is 4 layers enough?

stick with synthetic layers that will move moisture away from your core. Helly hansen makes a product called "lifa" it's excellent at keeping you dry and that will help to keep you warm. Lifa is a thermal underwear product and from personal experience is awesome. Your next layer should be a lightweight fleece. You might want to consider packing 200 weight fleece as well. Finally, your jacket should be minimum water resistant/ wind proof. Don't forget a great set of gloves, goggles a toque, neck warmer, and ski pants. Staying comfortable will allow you to get the most enjoyment out of your trip.

Thanks for the advice guys, I will definitely try to keep warm. It aint no fun if you get cold and cant get warm again.

Anyone near where I am going?

Also, I know this is the french part of Canada, and I don't speak a word of French. Should I just speak English? I do know Spanish pretty well but I don't think they would like that...haha.
