Good Mechanics in Toronto and GTA

Can you guys recommend some good mechanics in the area who will do a good job installing my y-pipe on my 4th gen maxima for a good price. I need to get my "OWN" mechanic

The bulk of our members have gone to Budget Exhaust in Burlington to have their exhaust work done. It's a bit of a trek, but they know their share of Maxima installs.

For other normal mech work I am happy to refer you to my local mechanic in the GTA, who I have referred many Maximas to.

Another good exhaust shop is Noyzboyz Exhaust in Scarborough. They are knowledgeable & fairly priced.

+1 noyzboyz seems to know their stuff, Their install prices are alright and they do custom exhausts which seems to be quite pricey and sound real good.

ypipe install will probably run you $100-150 there.. just a guess.

Also AVOID village nissan. STAY AWAY from them. You'll get better services bringing your maxima to a kia dealership than village nissan.

Thats correct. His reasoning behind my problems was that my car was a lemon ... he probably works for 401 Dixie Nissan.

I don't believe their labor rate changes if you buy from them. Also my install with them was about 4 years ago, so I'd just call them, or email them on their website.

i too would like to know of a good body shop. i am thinking of getting my front bumper repainted after all the salt that was thrown at it this past winter.

budget exhaust is an excellent shop out of burlington. i think i will give them a call within the next few weeks to see what they have for the Z/G cars. they worked on both of my maximas, and did an excellent job each time. very honest, good pricing, excellent product.

why would you go to a dealership to install a y-pipe?

Go to a privately owned shop and save your money

iGarage

This is a little shop located near Hwy 7 & McCowan rd. It is a small shop, but these guys are pretty good. The guy who owns it is named Ivan and he's probably the most honest mechanic I've ever had. They have done installs for me before and have never tried to butt**** me on the price.

here is their site:

Go to Midwest Rd., 60 bucks per hr. labor - get the parts yourself.

Budget is too expensive. Unless you like giving money away.
