STAY AWAY FROM SER_ALTIMA!!!

In the beginning of February I purchased a used MAF sensor from ser_altima (Nick Schycker) for 60 bucks. To this day, I still haven't received it. Naturally, he never provided me with a tracking number. The last p/m he sent me was on 2/18, which read: "I sent it out thru my local UPS store via USPS First Class. They said 7-9 business days but usually within 5 you should have it. This is the 2nd time I have had slow delivery with First Class I wont do it again. I apologize. Thanks"

When I phoned him last week he stated we would treat this "In the honor system" and would reimburse me the money. He further stated that if I ever received it afterwards I would either have to pay him back or return it. He never reimbursed me and is now ignoring all my P/Ms and voicemails.

Why is he doing this? Why does he continue to insult my intelligence and lie to me about reimbursing me. Now I am out $60 bucks and I am not happy about the whole thing. He's proven to be a liar, a cheat, and IMO, lacks character. I noticed he's only been a member since June of 08. I guess he doesn't care about his reputation.

I will commence a dispute with paypal. Other org members, please beware of this individual!!!

Refunded you this morning before I even saw the PM. I have had so much going on between the build, receiving stuff.. busy busy with my auto detailing business, I am a full time college student as well on top of all of it. I am not here to take your money it just kept slipping my mind to issue your refund and I apologize again.

Also, like I told you if and when the MAF arrives please just keep it for the trouble. I do not know what the deal is with USPS but I no longer ship with them because I have had an A$$ load of trouble.

I can understand why he started a thread, and it is fine, I am not a bad person or anything.

thanks for clearing this up...but IMO if you're too busy to ship out an item then you shouldn't be selling in the first place. granted that we all have busy lives and you rather sell something than have it sitting around...but if someone buys you need to deliver the goods or issue a timely refund.

+1 and for the record shipping with USPS sucks.. many times i've shipped with them & also waited to receive packages to be delivered by them & it takes forever.. i shipped a BOOK from queens ny to brooklyn ny & it took almost 2 weeks to reach its destination.. they suck..just use ups or fedex.

I did not say you are a bad person. I am just not going to put up with you ignoring my p/ms. If you weren't too busy to log on to the org, then you probably weren't too busy to respond to me.

The Paypal refund is pending. Mods may delete this as soon as it posts to my account.
