USC Justice being unhelpful and just simply put a liar.

I have a 95 maxima and I bought a steering wheel off him from a 98 Maxima. This was well over 1 month ago, I got the wheel but I was supposed to get another piece to make it fit.

Anyway, the other piece never came (I guess the piece to make the wheel fit since it doesn't line up with my 95 maxima. He never sent the other piece so last night I tried to put on the wheel with no luck.

It doesn't line up, so I pm him asking for my money back or the other piece to make the wheel fit and he said he won't take the wheel back nor give me back me money.

This is crazy, he knew I know nothing about putting on this wheel, he told me it should fit, well it doesn't and I want the 45 bucks back from dealing with this guy.

EDITED. Watch your language here. This isn't middle school.

I appreciate you taking the time to post this up and attempt to slander me. To address the issues at hand let us take it one part at a time.

You posted up a thread that you were looking for a 98 or 99 Maxima steering wheel. I responded to your thread and said that I had one that was from the GLE/GXE. Here is the link: WTB: Black 98-99 Steering Wheel That referred you to the thread where I was listing several car parts for sale.

You then told me that you needed some time to get the cash in order to pay for the steering wheel. I said no problem and listed the wheel as pending. A few days later you made the payment via paypal and I promptly boxed up and shipped the steering wheel. When packaging the steering wheel I noticed that the black plastic trim that goes on the bottom of the steering wheel (that you pop off to get to the plugs) was missing. I immediately sent you an email saying that it was missing and I was sorry for that, and that I would order the trim piece from the dealership and when it came in I would mail it to you. I have ordered that piece and it should be in by the end of the week or first of next week. You responded to that email and said that you would wait for it to arrive.

You asked for a steering wheel from the 98 to 99 Maxima. This I supplied. I did not know if it would or would not fit an earlier year Maxima. Now later while looking at other threads, it would appear that you need the clockspring and possibly more hardware for the steering wheel to be properly attached. The only thing missing from what was advertised was a plastic trim piece not any sort of adapter to make the wheel work. If you or anyone else would like to see the pictures that were posted on the advertisement for the steering wheel, I would be happy to put those back online as well.

Furthermore, profanity does not help anything or make your point with more clarity.

Feel free to check out my reputation on Ebay (user name USCJustice). Also feel free to ask around on NicoClub.com or to ask other people here on this forum that I have done business with. I am not a punk, nor a young kid to be intimidated via an internet forum. I provided an honest car part with no further promises. In short, you asked for a 98-99 Maxima steering wheel, and this was provided.

Moderators feel free to address me via the forum, private message, or via my email address.

This crap should be deleted. If you didn't know how to install a later model steering wheel on your car, you can't blame the guy who you bought it from.

It is clear that the buyer is at fault here. The seller told you he had a 98 wheel and I don't see anything about him saying he had an adaptor to make it fit a '95, nor is it the seller's responsibility to know whether or not it will fit a 95.

If you have a PM or something showing that he said he had an adaptor to make it fit, post it up. Otherwise, there is no foul here. Buyer should have done his research to make sure the wheel would fit his car.
