Dont Buy or Waste your time trying to buy something from Maxboost925!!!!!

Maxboost925 might be a nice guy, but he isnt responsible, and he does not stay up to date with things he promises or plans to do. I am disapointed becuase a buddy of mine told me that he flakes on almost everybody, and i refused to believe it because i knew the guy. He will waste your time, make a plan to meet up, even discuss how much and what and where. Unfortuantely i got played myself after several warnings from a friend that this will happen. I wanted a short shifter, and he accaully managed to convince me that he will get it to me and at the same time postponed it from january to last week. When i got a text message saying, "Hey, i decided to just sell the car, sorry you wont get the shifter." Disapointing becuase i knew him, but again goes with what alot of people said. He is irresponsible, unorganized, and unfortunately someone who i now have no sympathy for. He lead me on for weeks saying that he would get to it. Very unhappy with him, the way he approaches deals and how he constantly flakes out on everything he starts.

what's the point of this thread then??

No money was exchanged therefore it wasn't a sale.

No sale = No feedback.

Transaction

An agreement between a buyer and a seller for the exchange of goods or services for payment.

i believe it doesn't, mostly because there was no exchange of anything.

most importantly money, goods or services. this is just a rant.

This is good, here. It's a precaution for other Maxima owners to not involved themselves in dealings when the outcome ends up being nothing essentially. Many people don't stand behind their words and give open promises instead... would you want to be the victim?

wouldn't matter anyways since he isn't even on this forums anymore. Plus he doesn't even have any parts on that car to sell if he hasn't already sold his car.

yea he sold all the parts but had the short shifter on his car...and its still on the car probably. pretty pathetic i understand your backing a friend up, but if someone is wrong, then its a good deal to let people know, in case he does find something to sell.

You think someone broke his window on his new car accidently? i am sure someone had a grudge against him.

If he did have something to sell that wasn't on the car, he would have probably sold it already. If the short shifter wasn't on the car then he backed out of the deal I'd understand why you would be mad but it was still on the car. Maybe he didn't have the time to take it off? I'm just guessing there. No point in crying over spilled milk.

As for the glass, I'm not going to speculate on that.

it was on the car, we planned on getting a day to take it off, he agreed on price with me, said itll be one of the next weekends, a ****load of time went by, and i understand if it was off the car, but my point being, why make a deal, if your not planning on selling something, his body kit was on his car before he sold it, doesnt mean much to me if it was on or off the car, when you make a deal, you should stick with your word.

Dealt with the guy. He shipped an exhaust..and then I shipped mine to him. Good guy, very helpful...it was cool

He may have made a deal with you...but the facts are..no money was exchanged...you werent jipped...so stop complaining you didnt get a good deal. This is life man..some things work out..and other dont. End of story. It doesnt make him a bad guy..or whatever. ANY transactions he ACTUALLY got money or ACTUALLY exhanged for, went through normally. So as far as I can see, this thread is just to bash some guy who didnt hold up his word. I cant imagine what you'll say to someone at a fast food place that doesn't give you extra ketchup with your order. Probably post a thread about how no one should trust that place.

Listen up. THIS IS THE FEEDBACK SECTION. If your a douche and you can't handle a simple transaction that you agreed to, then people are FREE to post about it. I've noticed the only people coming in to defend MaxBoost on this transaction are all from Southern California. CEASE WITH THE SACK RIDING. If Maxboost agreed to a transaction and then blew off RuSSiAnMax415, then he has EVERY right to come in here and comment on it. It's not his fault Maxboost925 is a flake, only Maxboost fault.

Unless someone has something to add that is useful, like Maxboost was in a car accident, lost his arms and is unable to type and defend himself in all this, then STAY OUT OF THIS THREAD. It's admirable, you want to defend a friend, but a ****ty salesman is a ****ty salesman, quit trying to polish a turd.

No offense...but wait...

First of all, Im NOT a close friend of his or anything like that (he is North Cali, 350 miles away from me). I made a TRANSACTION with him and we traded exhausts. Everything went well, and when I needed help I called him and he answered and told me what to do (with the exhaust we traded)

Secondly, It not ONLY the South Cali guys that are "defending" him (even if we DID have a transaction) but also a NY guy (mynes) who said he traded bumpers and had a smooth TRANSACTION.

Finally, the guy who made the thread isnt merely saying that he had a bad experience...but he is telling people ot be wary of TRANSACTIONS with Maxboost925. Since this wasnt a TRANSACTION, but rather a "I'll see what I can do" deal...then he doesnt have the right to say that he got ripped off. He can say that he's been promised something and Maxboost925 never came through, but cant go as far as saying that no one should EVER deal with Maxboost925.

This is my .02 being a buyer, seller, and trader myself on the org for about 3 years now. People say they will get stuff and never pull through..it happens. There has even been an instance where I have TAKEN PAYMENT and REFUNDED the person (and apologized on NYCmaximas forum) because I ended up wanting to sell the part in a package deal. Would that constitute defacing me on the org? Circumstances change...thats all there is to it.

What i said was dont buy or waste your time, i knew him too. I'm sure there could have been plenty of transactions that had went through ok, i was just stating my experience with setting up a deal with him, thanks mtrai760 for standing up for me, but i dont want any drama, or grudges against anyone on the forums. There is enough arguements and hatred on here anyway. I was just really unhappy with what happened, i got over it. Things happen, deals go sour, life goes on. Thanks everyone.
