Moose Test (not Elk Test)

This says a 97 Mercedes A-class failed horribly. If not for the driver skill, the car should have rolled over.

What about stock 4th gens? I know some people have 3-wheeled here, but can the Portly Maxima with rear beam go up on 2 wheels like KITT?

No Maxima should ever roll over during maneuvers like that. All gens have been known to 3-wheel during heavy cornering, but none of them should ever roll over unless the roof was loaded.

I remember that day well, he and I both were getting comments from the announcers about our 3 wheelin family sedans. GoldenGate fields lot has the WORST surface you can imagine, chunked our tires like you wouldn't believe.

Skinny tires actually resist it as they slide as the slip angles increase. Worst lifts occur with stock suspension, sticky race rubber, and grippy surface.

Landing is the easy part. you just have to be smart enough to turn left a little bit and the car will come right back down.

looks like a right handed curve... turn left and not hit any cones, would that be a +1 penalty?

Looks like the driver did exactly as Matt said and turned left towards the cone with the logo facing. I think I can see the driver leaning right inside the cabin, though probably on a wet seat. Of course not a single course worker is looking towards the Saturn.

If he drove off course and came back on after a cone, then it's a DNF. If he turned around and came back in before the point he went off course, then he just wastes time- no penalty. That's assuming he doesn't hit any cones in the process.

In any case, that run is trash- cones or not- because he killed so much time with the 2-wheel motion and recovering from it.

This is the most body roll I have ever gotten in my life in a car (I have two wheeled a Samurai drifting it before).

I hate body roll.
