I've got a post around here somewhere that has about 25 brands of wet/dry boiling points and prices and such.

Yeah some of the stuff on that list is pretty wildly priced. I've still got a couple bottles of unopened pre-2006 550* Ford HD on the shelf in the garage.

Based on suggestions like these I switched from Motul 600 costing $100/gal to Valvoline at 1/4 the price. It's dry boiling point is right at my temp limit and it's a bargain to replace each year.

I've been using ATE Blue/yellow and am switching to the valvoline pretty much. even with slicks and 100* weather here, I still haven't boiled the fluid in either car yet.. why pay for something I don't need?

SRF would be good if you want to just leave it in there for a year. Otherwise, I've been running Valvoline and it's been fine. You can find them anywhere and they cost about $6 for a big bottle.
