Thanks for the responses, guys.
I'm looking into a good mix of effectiveness in both daily driving and the occassional auto-x stints. "Set 1" above wouldn't be any heavier than the OEM 2k2 set-up so i'm not worried much about weight and i'm pretty much stuck with 17's these days anyhow.
The 2k4+ caliper/rotor combo has always sounded good, but the caliper just doesn't seem to fit in my current set-up - from the limited info i gathered, the top hat (?) will hit either the wheel weights or the inside spoke of my rims.
Right now, i'm on 245/45/17 Proxes 4, there's plenty of grip for what its worth - it's just the feel of my current brake set-up that's got me thinking of an upgrade. The existing set-up brakes just fine, even under constant braking, but it doesn't bode well for daily driving.
Hmm, then again, do you guys think having Hawk HPS up front and Axxis MM's in the back have anything to do with it? It's a bit hard to explain, but whenever i do brake it feels the back just isn't biting as hard.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
