So what alarm wires do I NOT need?

I'm trying to make my install a lot easier by taking out the wires I don't need. I have a 97 Maxima 5 Speed. I know I can't use the trunk release because I need to get a piece for the latch. Also I don't think I can use the dome light feature. Anyone else have any input? Another thing is I want to use the auto start anyway. Does anyone know which wire I can cut into for the neutral safety switch?

TBH, while you're in there, it doesn't make much difference. Not wiring your trunk release or dome light doesn't make the job much easier. And if you're thinking about hiding the module or tucking wires, you're going to want to wire for as many features as possible during the initial install.

But to answer your question, you need to tap into the ignition, constant, ground, hood, trunk, and door triggers, as well as the door lock wires, with the correct relay configuration in mind and it will be functional.
