need help w old school automate 6hf remote start crank time

hey all i have a problem with my old automate 6hf (similar is the viper 140hf). i put the car into valet mode the other day, and when i took it out of valet mode, that night i went to remote start my car and the crank time was changed. the engine started, and the starter was still spinning until i pressed the brake pedal to turn it off. the car starts normally with the key. i tried as hard as i could bear to see how long the starter spun for, and it was over 3 seconds and probably would have kept spinning until i disengaged it.

the alarm/remote start is so old, there is no input for a bitwriter, and i cant find the installation manual anywhere to show me how to re program the crank time via valet button.

can anyone help me on this one?

Try to repeat what you did? Maybe the Valet switch is half way switched?

what's your email? I can send you the install manual from the Viper 135hf if it helps.

Or the 140xv. I don't have one for the Viper 140hf, just owners manual. But that doesn't tell you ish.
