New system set up, advice, suggestions Needed

Hello Org, I need your help. I am redoing my system and i need some help and ideas. Please post pictures. Pics below show my current set up. I have 3 options.
1. build a box wiht sub suspened in the middle ported thru the rear deck (you will see sub via Plexi, with trunk open)
2. build the same box, but have the plexi in the front, so where you drop the back seat you see the sub (again sub ported tru rear deck) and amps mounted in slanted kinda like // if you can picture it
3. build a box where the sub is facing the back seat (when you drop the seat you see the cone, when you open the trunk, you see the magnet)
i have a JL 500/5 and a 1000/1 and have another idea of what to do wiht the amps, but gonna keep it with me for now.
What do you guys think, do you have any other options. I DO NOT want to use up the entire trunk space as i after all this is my grocery getter

A JL 1000/1 actually sits where this audiobah is

Thank you

I just redid my setup.

To save room I mounted both amps in the space where the spare tire would go. Gotta get AAA now. I'm in the process of rebuilding the box so it would be flush mounted and as far in towards the seat with the port up into the car like you said.

If I get a chance I'll post some pics.

Cool, please post pics, i am trying not to loose the spare but i will consider it. However i have a nice place for the amp, but it will require custom work. not tellin yet tho, lol

i dunno what other setups that can give you more room than what you have now. you have a ton of room back there. if you built a box bolted to the rear deck, you'll lose some height in the trunk. only option i see is to have a FG enclosure molded into the spare tire area and have your sub mounted there.

I've been told when you doing this, even though it doesn't take up any space, the "waves" actually tend to cancel each other out. If you DO do it, let me know. I may go a head and do mine. I'm trying to save trunk space myself.

So finally got some pics of what I've got... right now not much room is being saved but I'm building a new enclosure that will bring the subs more into the trunk and flush them up.

The amps are in the spare tire area with plexi window. The new enclosure will come out to around the edge of the plexiglass... being able to see the amps.

I don't know, I talked to Don about doing it, and that's what he explained to me. I just figured he's been in the business alot longer than I have so I took his word.

They're L5's. Honestly, I've been thinking about doing CVX's instead. These are really loud but sound quality isn't there. Plus I'm missing some of the higher bass notes. The L5's only play up to 100hz.

Wow!! That sux. They are definitely a low end SPL sub, huh. I think I'm gonna go ahead and stick my sub in the spare tire well. Don't know if I'm gonna make it visible or "hide" it yet. Prolly gonna hide it to keep most of the trunk space. Any ideas for the placement of my two amps? I was thinking of up towards the back seat. Also thinking about raising the floor about a half inch or so.

I thought about doing a single sub in the spare tire well and putting the amps in each corner of the trunk, towards the rear by the taillights.
