My Bose speaker is making noise when bass thumps...

Hey, well all my other BOSE speakers work fine in my Maxima. For example, when the bassline hits in a car, all the other speakers thump fine. The right bose door speaker, however, makes a sound. It's like an extra vibrating boom that sounds bad.

Does anyone know if this is a sign of a bad bose speaker, or just a loose speaker/part? How much would it cost for a mechanic to fix it? Judging by the sound it sounds like something is loose and tightening it would make it better but I dunno where to start...

Thanks!

What year is your car? It could be a few things but if it is only happening on lower frequencies then either the driver is blown of the surround is dry rotted and is causing the driver to move in a nonlinear motion which is causing the distortion.

^ what Ami said... lol. But seriously, pop off your door panel carefully, and inspect the panel and speaker to see where exactly whats loose/broken/vibrating.
