Swap OEM Non-Bose for OEM Bose?

I have a 2007 Maxima SE with the standard non-Bose radio. I like having a clean, OEM look but also want to listen to XM without the car unit (currently living in my center console, line in to the AUX jack). I want to swap out my OEM non-Bose radio with an OEM Bose radio that can support XM (having a nav model would be OK too but isn't necessary -- the XM is what I have to have).

From everything I've read, I know I'll have to replace both the head unit and all four speakers, as well as add the XM unit/antenna in the back. Am I out of my mind for doing this? I'm having a hard time finding all the part numbers, and don't know how many extra wires I'll have to run.

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure about this, i was looking at doing this at well, when i first got my car but those parts are super expensive, there are not many 07-08's at the salvage yards to get these parts reasonable. I am not saying it cant be done, its just gonna be expensive. Get your self a nice radio and xm tuner and you will be super happy.

PS. EFX off of 45 is a good place, so check them out

good luck

I've got my complete BOSE setup out of my 07 SE. You have 8 speakers, not 4. 1 tweeter/1 mid for each front door, 1 speaker each in each of the rear doors, and 2 6x9's on the rear deck. There is also a small amp mounted in the trunk, underneath the rear deck.
