Got my grounding kit and battery terminals installed

Finally installed my grounding kit, and my battery terminals. I had some 1/0 Knu Kollossus wire left, so I made up my own grounding kit.

Grounding wires

Instead of grounding to my VIAS plate (I have an 07, and the plate is plastic) I grounded that wire to the upper intake, using the bolt that holds the plastic cover onto the intake.

As a shameless plug, I've got two grounding kits left for sale here:

I'd like to say I noticed a huge difference, but I wasn't really having any problems...yet. I just installed a good sized system, so this was really a "pre-emptive strike" kind of thing. I'm gonna run a 1/0 power wire to the alternator next week when I pick up some more wire.

i highly doubt you have a true 2kw+ going to your subs without additional electrical work to support a large amp. but yes, upgrading your grounds will help out quite a bit.

I'm running about 1600 watts rms. I've only got 2 -8" Hertz subs, so I'm not running any crazy sub setup. I know my system is putting an additional strain on the electrical/charging system (common sense says it has to be!). I figured the additional grounding and "big 3" definitely couldn't hurt me.

Oh yeah I know this, the amp is rated at 1750 but according to the manuf. its putting out possibly a little more than 2000 watts at 14.4v.Im only running a single 12.I realize there is no way a stock electrical system can handle that much power.Right now Im having pretty significant dimming issues. My main goal is too eliminate that.Even though Im not getting 2000 watts I dont care because whatever power it is getting its plenty .

yep, beef up your grounds and your dimming issues should get a lot better.
