4-CHANNEL KEEPS GOING OUT. HELP!!

so i bought a jbl amp 75.4II and for some odd reason while at high volume the speakers cut out and in. i've popped the trunk open to see what happens and it pretty much goes to protect then back on. if someone could give me some opinions on what can be causing this let me know. before i take it to a shop.

well i have he setting very low but i do also have two mtx monblock's. i lowerd the gain on the amps to see if the gain on the monoblock's would prevent loss of voltage from the red optima battery. i also have noticed that my interior lights are flicking again and they never would when i first got it. do you think it could be that the battery needs a new charge?

yeah i would charge it up again for a few min... i have a jbl 4 channel and two jbl mono's.. bout to buy a power cell for the system and take the that load off the battery...just sounds to me like the cause is the battery with the input level gains all around..just play around with the levels...see what happens

well the gain is as low as possible and it still shuts off. could voltage drop be the issue if the optima battery isnt as charged up as it was when new?

has it been doing this since u got it?
What type of speakers do you have hooked up?
If gains are super low and it does this automatically when at high volumes, I think the amp is either faulty or most likely there is something wrong in wiring.

Disconnect subs or unplug RCA's for sub to amp and see if it still does this. Any red top should handle components alone....I would think....
If it still does it, I would think its something else.

i doubt that its the wiring because i had just connected one component and it was doing it then i connected the other and it still does it so im starting to think its a faulty amp. there always has to be one in the bunch huh... i already requested a return order so either i get store credit or exchange for the same. see what the outcome is.

ok well i came out with a possiblity... i noticed that the input on the crossover to the right speaker is loose due to the screw not unscrewing as it should. im thinking of welding the wire on to the terminals of the crossover...what are your opinons??
