Whats the newest Bose speakers you can put in a 4th gen

I think I have decided to go back to stock, so most likley Im gonna buy a 05 pathfinder bose HU, but I wanted to see if anyone knows whats the newest bose speakers you can put in the 4th gen or if its even possible, cuz I really dont want to buy 10 year old speakers. weather its from an infiniti or just nissan any info on this would help....

You'll need the Bose amps, which from the factory are attached to each individual speaker. So if you could source the amps separate from the speakers then you could find newer Bose 6.5s to work. If you're set on a Pathfinder head unit, if you can find a non-Bose one (with an amp built in) then you can use any aftermarket speakers you want, many of which are going to be both cheaper and sound better than bose.

good info man. I have a full aftermarket set-up already. Pioneer HU, jl fronts and tweets, audioban rears and a jl 12' sub 2 amps. but after a couple of years I think it to much. My friend has 2004 murano and its stock bose system, that comes with a baselink is perfect! so I think thats why im going this direction. Plus itll save me weight cuz the sub and box I have is easily 50 + pounds...
