Installing Double-Din in '04

I'm trying to install a standard DIN HU as well as a DIN sized police scanner but I'm having some fit issues. I purchased the Scosche single DIN kit, but even my head unit cannot be installed using this kit because the HU, when bolted to the stock brackets, is sitting above the DIN hole provided by scosche. I cut out the excess plastic so both it and my scanner will fit, but its not looking good and the kit is pretty much a writeoff at this point.

Does anyone know if there is a double-din kit available?

lol...scosche ftl. Not that I know of. Most people take the Metra kit and cut the pocket out from directly above the radio to make it into a double din kit.
