Running new speaker wires 5th/5.5 gens

Here's a question that I haven't seen yet. Just to get some ideas other than my own, how have you routed the speaker wires out of the doors into the car? There's just that 1 harness plug that I've seen, but there's no room for any wires to feed through. I don't think there's another way without drilling. Any pics or ideas?

There are grommets inside the door and on the body, just behind the factory loom. These can be poked out or slit to accommodate some beefy wiring.

Here's a link from a guy who ran the equivalent of 4 gauge wire on through. Key here of course is to ensure continued water resistance, especially into the body of the car (water in doors happens).

I'm pretty sure after inspection on my 5th gen you really don't need to remove the doors. The guy's just a completist.

I saw this install this weekend. Thanks man. I'll have to look at my car and see these points.
