Do Alarm Horns Die Out?

My alarm horn is barely even audible now, so I was wondering if they have a lifespan?

And by barley audible you have to put your ear on the hood to hear it.

How do I install a new horn?

Just buy a replacement off of ebay. Normally it's just a signal wire and a ground. The one's that need their own separate power source are louder.

Yes the siren. I'll go check the ground when I have time. Hopefully that will help it.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, this happened when it rained A LOT. But the horn is near the strut tower, would water affect it?

is the siren pointing up or down ? If its pointing up, and moisture gets into the siren it will very much so affect the siren. All sirens should be pointed down.
