Alpine bypass on dvd units

I had my friend put in my IVA-W200 in my car, along with the Navigation, satellite radio and new BA components. I also added a 10 inch Eclipse aluminum sub that will be powered by a JL 500/1

I'm having a problem with the PAC TR7 bypass unit that is supposed to trick the alpine into thinking my parking brake is on, and allow me to use all the features while I am driving. Well it's not doing that. Sometimes it works fine, but now its locking me out of the functions even when I am parked. Anyone had problems with this bypass unit ? I wish Alpine would make it simple like other units, where you just ground the wire to watch movies while you drive. ANy help is appreciated.

YES it was wired according to PAC's diagram.

yeah the directions on the TR-7 are pretty cut and dry. double check your connections again, and if they're all set, im thinking you have a bad piece.

Well, upon further research, I seem to have the older version of the TR&. Not sure if this is why it's not working. All the wiring is correct. I will have to get the newer version and try that.

I have the TR-7 and it kept shutting off everytime a bass note would kick in, or bump on the road. I eventually wrapped foam around it and tucked it in a spot where it wouldnt be easily shaken. This seemed to solve the problem, hasnt done this since
