Making my own Metra harness and installing a Pioneer deck
This is my first car stereo install, I got some stuff down but I need some help on a few things. Im putting in a Pioneer DEH-6900UB, its got front and rear pre outs that are 4 volts/100ohms. I found out about the Metra 70-7551 adpater after I bought a maxima harness so Im just going to make my own, but how do I connect rca cables to the harness? This is the wireing diagram I am using, each speaker has two wires a - and a +, when connecting them to RCA cables, what connects to what, how do I group them together?
Now, looking at that diagram above, Im left with a few more wires;
5 - antenna signal: goes to the blue/white controll wire form my HU
6 - Bat back up +: goes to the yellow constant 12v wire on my HU?
7 & 8 - illumination and light switch:
do I not connect these to anything? My HU harness has a orange/white lighting switch wire, but installdr says that these two wires are not used. So do I connect my orange/white lighting switch wire to #8 or do I not use it and the HU's lights power on by itself?
9 - ground: obvious
10 - accessories, installdr calls this the 12v ignition wire, whats the difference between the 12v ignition wire and the 12v battery wire?
11 - another ground, obvious
12 - amp on signal: this one I dont get
Here is a link to the installdr wireing diagram Im also using; http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Nissan-Wiring.pdf
I dont know what to do with the amp on signal, I dont know the difference between 12v ignition and 12v battery and I dont understand what I do about the lighting wires. Could someone look over this and tell me what I got right and whats wrong?

Ignition vs battery - the ignition only comes on when the key is in and set to acc or higher. This is how the radio stays off when the key is out.
