Basic wire tap question

Where do you guys buy your wire taps from? I need one that will work on like really thin wire...like 24 gauge. Radio shack doesnt have anything that small...anyone know a place? Also, is there any other type of connector that might work? Basically what i want to do is to tap into a wire that is plugged into a harness. There isnt much slack or room to manuever...so i want to do something like snap and go...much like a wire tap. Thanks a lot guys.

Use a pair of wire cutters and strip back some of the rubber insulation and wrap the wire around the exposed copper and tape up with electrical tape.

How do you strip the wire without having an end to work with? I usually only strip wires that have an end. Does it just take some skill?

go to the automotive section at wal-mart and get a package of 3M quick-connect things. they're little plastic things that you can use for all your wire-connecting needs. pretty cheap too. and you don't have to strip the wires either.
