Active headrest and monitors...

I have been contemplating putting in headrest monitors in my car for the kids. Does anyone know if this would affect the active headrests? I think the actual mechanism for this is inside in the seat, not in the actual headrest that sticks out, but I wanted to make sure.

Thank you Sir .

Due to the offset of the rims the car has a little wider stance now, nice for handling. I did not think it would make that much of a difference, but I am glad I was wrong.

I had some issues with mine.. the poles on the TV headrest are actually longer than the poles on the OEM headrests...because of this the poles hit a metal crossbar inside the seat that keeps them from moving forward (the active headrest movement) I get around it by just making sure that the headrests are not all the way down so it clears that metal crossbar.

I assume that you bought the ones that replace the whole headrest/poles. I was planning on mounting the monitors inside of the OEM headrest.

yeah I am talking about complete headrests.. vizualogic ones. Monitors on the OEM headrests should not affect the active headrest at all.

You're right, I took a look at the active headrest system and saw how it does not involve the top of the headrest. At first I thoght that maybe the actual headrest piece also tilted, but it's the force of you moving back into the seat that moves the whole thing forward.

Probably will, not sure yet.

The offset of the G35 rims is 30mm's, the offset for the Konig rims I honestly cannot remember. I would guess around 40.
