Whether you like the JL product or not, it all comes down to the individual and that's all that really matters. The Nissan Maxima isn't the only car out there either.

Lucky that you get to use the UL12... I've heard great things about it. I'm really trying not to spend more money on my system but if a good deal on a UL12 comes along i might have to sell some subs i have sitting around to buy one

I haven't seen anyone buy a c-mass just yet? I'll get'em to sell more! lol

Hook me up with one and tell c-mass peeps that i'll put a sticker on, maybe they'll gimme a freebie.

Don do you know what the actual measured resistance is of each coil?

JL needs to realize that if it weren't for their HEAVILY induced sales reps working at territorially-controlled shops pimping their gear, anyone could be in the position they are in. Meaning, any company could have purchased their way to prominence (if Alpine's not careful they'll be accused of the same thing--which may be leading to the blowback that is the resurgence of Pioneer's popularity)--and left JL in the same league as Lightning--which isn't a huge stretch to compare BTW.

I goofed on him for the same thing about a year ago, but I think we both understand that it is the dealer's job to advocate his lines. What people never seem to ask though is why prominent lines AREN'T carried at certain high-quality shops. You might get an answer that's uncomfortable to your perceptions of certain products.
