After Market Sub w/ Bose System

I'm trying to figure out how to wire up an after market sub into my stock bose non-nav system (2000 maxima). I know that at least hoooper has done this as shown here in this thread.

I sent hoooper a few PM's, but he has been busy with other things so I figured I'd just ask if anybody else had any ideas as to how to accomplish this.

Thanks

I just did this install this weekend on my cousin's 03 with the Bose AND NAVI. I don't think anyone has tried it with the navi but it's EXACTLY the same. Got a set of female rca's and spliced them into the rear speaker outputs on the back of the headunit and hooked up the remote wire to the IGN wire.

That was a great help..everything on there is 100% accurate EVEN for the model with the navi. As for the power wire.... I took off the left front wheel and took off the fender liner. you'll see a wire there that goes from the engine bay (it leads to a fuse box) to the interior. Just follow that and it's a SIMPLE install. NO DRILLING whatsoever.

This install is a no brainer and there are NO adapters to buy! Thanks to all the stickies on the forums it was a PIECE OF CAKE.
