I was looking at getting this HU for my 2k2 maxima. I want to just keep the stock bose speakers. If you go here:

and look at the pictures there is a picture of the back of the HU. There seems to be nothing but preamp outputs. How would I wire this to the stock wiring of the maxima, with or without the Scosche OEM Amplifier Adapter.

Maybe i am just missing something or maybe it can't be done. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the pic again and look for the black rectangle with all the pins in it, next to the fuse in the deck. This is your wiring harness which gives the deck power, ground, accessory, and provides your speaker wire outputs and amp turn on.

in your post you say that is better to either get the metra connector or wire with the rca preouts. Is the Scosche not a good option? (because that is what i was planning on using) I also noticed the Scosche has gain adjustments on it, how much adjusting would i have to do when I install it.
