Anyone heard of Formula Amps?

I just bought a Formula Mach 6000 amp off of my friend (his dad plucked it from the car yard he runs), and I did some google searching but came up pretty much empty. It looks like its a 250x4W amp (@ 2 Ohms though), and has a voltmeter on it and stuff. I want to run it as a 3-channel (power my rear 6x9s and my sub), but my sub can't accept big power so I'm worried I'll be feeding it too much power if I bridge 2 of the channels. Anyone have a website for this company or can just give me advice? Thanks.

Never heard of it. Any pics? Very few companies put volt meters on their amps. It may be similar to the power acoustics boards, that's just the first to come to mind.

Here is the only pic I could find of it on the web:

A company website doesn't seem to exist.

After seeing the pic. I have nothing. I have been searching for about 20 mins and can't find anyone using that shroud. Not even a similar looking amp. Def nothing on the company. I hope you got it VERY cheap.

Don't worry about the power being too much thats what gain and sensitivity settings are for. That amp will probably put out roughly 75 x 2 peak power and 150 x 1 on the bridged side. All you can do is try it and report back. I'm pretty sure though that this is comparable to volfenhagen and visonik.

Hell yeah. I would pay that just to see what it can do before it blows up.

Is audiobahn a decent brand? I just don't want to blow my speakers out or have distortion city.

I think thats just it, with audiobahn, they are 1) over - rated 2) alot of distortion for them to reach peak rms power ratings.
