Noobie Needs Help on Speaker Install
I have a 2000 GXE non-bose. I can get the door panels off with no problem, but I really don't want to have to cut any wiring. I read in another thread that there's an adapter that will allow me to plug in my aftermarket speakers, but I can't find it online anywhere. Does anyone have any advice?

If you don't want to cut wires, and save money on not getting harnesses, you can go the route of t-taps. Just slice into the wire enough, without cutting through it, and attach a t-tap into it, then attach (crimp) the other end of the t-tap to the speaker wire, and plug in. It will do the same thing, and you will not have to cut any wires.

Could also run new speaker wire...
Or put butt connectors on the OEM wire / New wire / OEM harness, so you could easily swap the OEM harness back in if you needed to.
Crutchfield has OEM to leads converter:
