Need help with XBOX installtion in my 95 MAX!!

So far i got my alpine 9518 and a farenheit 7" LCD installed. Now i want ot put my xbox in the car. I have a couple of questions if anyone has done it or have knowledge.
1. is under the passenger seat a good place to put it?
2. if i use a power inverter. can i just splice into the cig lighter wires and solder it there to looks nicer? Also if the Xbox is always plugged into the inverter will i have any problems with my cars electrical system.
3. Is the Xbox a better choice or should i go with mini DVd player is see here in that Redamx is selling.
4. Ok i have last question reguarding my Farenheit lcd. is there any way to turnt he lcd on/off with using the remote control? im afraid i might lose the remote and will not able to use anymore.

Any input will be greatly appreciated!!!

I have done this before..

1. It will not fit under the passenger seat but since you can raise the driver seat up, it will fit under there.

2. Yes, and it will all be fine.

3. Chip your XBOX like me and it will be perfect! Use XBOX Media Player for all your media needs!

4. I have a RedMax so i dont know...

Let me know if you need any help with anything about this..it is awesome when finished!

Ooops, one thing about #2. Instead of hardwiring to the cig lighter, run a small cable and fuse it directly from the battery. Be sure the ground you choose is very good or else you will get all kinds of noise. Lastly, FUSE FUSE FUSE, if you run a wire from the battery and dont fuse it, youll have what happened to me, a near electrical fire in the car.

Do you use a remote or a controller for the xbox media player?

A mod chip lets you run unsigned code. What that means is, it will let you run programs that will let you play and copy games to the hard drive. You can also upgrade your harddrive to a larger one and have more games on the hard drive. So you can rents games and heve them forever.
