hu unit starting to die, need some ideas
right now i have a pioneer deh-1500, it was about the best entry level hu i could afford at the time. it has good sound shaping and all that fun stuff. now recently i have had a problem with it ejecting cd's. it doesnt like to give them out through the faceplate, only i have to remove the faceplate and pinch it out. i kinda wanna upgrade so i was looking for some advice. Im not looking for anything with xm or sirius, id like the mp3 functionality, thoguh its not needed. i dont want to spend too much, and i want something with as good shaping if not better than what i have. id also like something to match up with the black interior in my 3rd gen. any ideas, i was looking at the excelon but i dont want to really invest that much

I have an Alpine 9807 (but it is silver) in my 3rd Gen. A friend of mine has the Kenwood Excelon MP3 and I like it better than my Alpine. Eclipse also has a nice entry level MP3 (can't think of the number) and it is less than $300.

im actually looking at the 6500mp, we are gettin in the 6600 in the next week and theyre gonna give it to me for way below market price, so that should be nice, the only i dont like about it is that it is silver
