variable load flashers -- anyone with experience?
Can't seem to find much meat in the previous postings about variable load flashers. This is pertaining to the use of LED bulbs in turn signals, where the variable load flasher is used to regulate the flashing rate (slow it down due to rapid flashing introduced by the low resistance LED).
Has anyone installed these? Any procedure listed somewhere on the Internet that you could point to or post here? I've heard that the Autozone has VLF's for $2 a piece... do they go in-line for each bulb socket?
I imagine that the 4th gen Maxima will need these, as I've seen several them riding around with rapid flashing turn signals.
Thanks!
