Rockford Fosgate amp question...

Hey guys,

I am considering buying the Rockford Fosgate 400s amp to push an OZ audio Vector series 12" sub. The sub is rated at 500Watts rms and 800 Watts max. I've owned Rockford amps in the past and have been pleased for the money. This amp puts out 400 RMS bridged. Will this "bump" my sub. It's only $179.99 on www.sounddomain.com, great deal!! I can't believe how much $$ you save by shopping on the net! Any help will be appreciated!!

Sounds ok, remember, Rockford amps always are rated at higher wattage than stated (i.e. my 700s rated at 850 watts).

Yea, the Rockford amps are bench tested by RMS signal output (what the amp puts out most of the time), and from what I understand at "times" the 300s will put out like 600 Watts (peak). Anyhow, how do you like the amp??

Yeah, my friend bought this car dvd player and saved on shipping/time by going to pick it up. Even if its free shipping, you can still go and save yourself the time.

Love mine, i didn't like the setup at first, but I learned that the idiot that installed the amp and subs neglected to use the low pass crossover, so I was getting a little distortion from running full-range audio through my subs...
