wiring

i have my subs wired with a 4ohm load on my amp. how would i wire them to have a 2 ohm load to get the most out of my amp? thanks

It depends on your subs. If they are dual voice coil, sorry you can't. If not, you can drop them to 2ohm assuming you have a 2-channel amp (I am a certified installer). Since you are a Fosgate Fan for example you can have 2 XTC punch subs, single voice coil at 2ohm or 4ohm on a 500.2 amp. Or you can have 2 HE2's dual voice coil at .5ohm, 4ohm or 8ohm with a 500.2 amp. Check Crutchfield or Fosgate's website. They have some great wiring diagrams and is easy to figure out your setup.
