Oil leak HELP....
#2
Pretty sure its your front valve cover leaking, I can pretty much guarantee you the rear one is leaking as well, so replace both. With the help of the FSM(Factory Service Manual) and/or Haynes/Chilton repair manuals you can change them yourself. There's even a write-up in the 4th gen section that will help you take everything apart w/ pics. You can either go OEM gaskets or Fel-pro from local parts store. Do not forget the permatex ultra black gasket maker
If you have already had this done recently and its leaking again whoever fixed it probably did not place the permatex in the critical spots(these are pointed out in the FSM). good luck

Just a valve cover gasket. replace both DIY and take your time. Like stated download FSM and enjoy. Good luck. BTW this section is for advanced motor work like a complete motor build tuning etc. Just a friendly heads up. Yours is just minor maintenance.
